Top 4 Items To Soothe Teething Pain
I think you will all agree with me when I say teething SUCKS! Our poor little mites are turned into dribbley, grumpy little humans who no longer want to sleep, eat or generally be happy about anything. It must be horrendous having to cut all those teeth but on a totally selfish note, I also feel for all us sleep deprived mombies who will pretty much try anything to take our babies pain away (and get some much needed sleep in the process!).
This leads on to my top 4 tips for surviving teething. I can’t guarantee they will work but when they’re in pain anything is worth a shot!
Ashton & Parsons Teething Powders
These little beauties are a godsend and work a treat! Pour the powder directly into your little ones mouth. Within 10 minutes I noticed a change in Thomas.
Bonjela Teething Gel
I love this stuff. It can be applied directly to the sore gum and works it’s magic instantly. My only gripe is that it seems to wear off pretty quickly.
Sophie The Giraffe
Oh Sophie, you wonderful giraffe you!
Not only is she pretty adorable for a children’s teether but she is fantastic for reaching all your babies big bad back teeth. My only recommendation with this is, please buy a spare! We once lost ours and Thomas proceeded to go bat shit crazy in the middle of the supermarket. Not cool kid, not cool.
Teething & Nursing Necklace By Little Magpies
I am a HUGE fan of these. I think of them as a treat for me as they look great but they’re also practical as they keep Thomas entertained and he can chomp away on the beads whenever he feels like it. They come in a range of gorgeous colours that are totally on trend and nobody would even know it was meant for teething. Well, apart from the fact you have a teething toddler pretty much permanently attached to it, that’s a slight giveaway.
So, there you have it. My top 4 items to survive the nightmare that is teething. I wish you all the luck in the world and when that's not enough there's always wine!
